Honey/ garlic/ soy chicken. Get a bag of chicken pieces from Wooworths; about $7 equals 23 pieces. cooking in pan with cup of sweet soy/ 2 cloves of crushed garlic, 3 table spoons of honey and half litre of stock. Turn several times and serve with vegetables if so desire but it is so finger licking you probably wont need them.

Spaghetti for sure. Plus you can involve the whole family by making someone grate cheese while another does the noodles etc. Plus, it really tastes good!

A great meal is a mushroom and vegetable risotto, easy to make and very filling. Doesn't take too long to prepare or cook as canned or frozen vegetables can be used.

I love using my crockpot... it is just so easy, and it does not matter whether you are trying to make soup, a main meal, or a dessert, in fact I also now and again make bread, I find this is the easiest of all, literally just set and forget... wonderful sizes are also available for families, I have a small and a large one.... great to throw mince in with all the flavourings and get it ready for spag boll.

Some nights our family has 9 members for tea.It is so expensive the price of meat at the moment that I look for specials and try to make up stews or casseroles to feed everybody. Also I make a big batch of spaghetti bolognaise which goes down very well as well

Yes spaghetti has to be the emergency food, and no matter how many times you have it, it still tastes great...
