Just came across an article where people have responded that they were spending 70%, 80% and 83% of their take home pay in rent, Which seems crazy high. Are Cafe Chat friends here spending that much on rent or are those numbers outliers?

I heard a news bulletin state people are spending 50% of their income on rent and they interviewed people who backed up this claim. Personally, we don't pay rent.
